Actis Plus NEMA 7 comes with new features

The Wellness TechGroup Product team has improved its Actis Plus NEMA 7 node by adding a series of functionalities that make it more versatile and competitive among the existing products on the market.

Actis is a product range of smart and autonomous devices used for the remote control of light points equipped with 1-10V or DALI protocol drivers. Specially designed for every type of street light, including applications such as residential, urban and road. The Actis Plus Nema7 node is equipped with different LPWAN communications and it’s compatible with most luminaires on the market. The device is part of the WeLight Smart Lighting, solution for the intelligent management of public lighting developed by Wellness TechGroup that has already been deployed in more than 300 municipalities, remotely managing more than 800,000 luminaires.

Thanks to the incorporation of the analog and digital inputs, Actis Plus Nema 7 uses are expanded. Now it is possible to configure adaptive lighting thanks to the digital input, either in an entire line of lamps or in sections where it is required, with the possibility of connecting presence sensors so that the node acts according to detected activity. The analog input allows to connect analog sensors such as anenometers, temperature or humidity probes. The information collected by these sensors is available in the WeLight Manager management platform, the software tool of the WeLight solution.

Actis Plus Nema 7 now contains a memory module that enables to store information and, in case of a communication failure, the WeLight Manager platform can request and retrieve the data. It has been also equipped with an accelerometer to be able to detect if the luminaire has an incident and a GPS module to know about the position of the assets.

The Multi-driver & Self-commisioning functionality with the DALI-2 communication protocol version in the luminaire drivers makes it possible to act on 8 (maximum) luminaires connected to the same node.

Finally, color and temperature control functionalities of the luminaire enable to regulate both the temperature and the RGB color of the luminaire by acting on the drivers (the drivers must be DALI8).
