The project

Carry out industrial research on blockchain technology to solve the challenges faced by Spanish companies in the management, reliability and traceability of goods and services transactions, particularly in the face of digital transformation requirements and other existing regulation.

Consortium: Experis, Wellness TechGroup, Innovait, Ibermática, Magtel, Soltel, Vatia.

WTG'S OBJECTIVES

  • Digital identity: research and creation of proofs of concept oriented around the management of digital identities of users and their related information.
  • Traceability: tracking of a specific good or product throughout its production and distribution process.
  • Contract compliance: the possibility of creating a series of contracts to govern the operation of a group of companies. The objective is to establish a self-executing business logic that, by definition, must be fulfilled by all involved parties.
  • Regulatory compliance: to devise a technological solution that responds to the new rights of individuals and companies, such as the right to be forgotten, data portability, and the obligation to notify in case of a security breach.

WTG'S ROLE

  • Identify specific needs for the application of blockchain to our architecture and the capabilities of our equipment, mainly the UMD (Universal Measurement Device), as a part of the energy monitoring solution, and the Cloud platform to support it.
  • Identify and select platforms and base technologies that allow blockchain to be introduced into our operations, which would include selecting the blockchain platform based on the needs and capabilities identified in the previous point.
